If you no longer wish to access a shared mailbox you can report this to the helpdesk.

Outlook

• Start Microsoft Outlook.
• Click on the 'File' tab at the top left, then on 'Account Settings' and then in the dropdown menu again Account Settings.
• Select the shared mailbox and choose 'Remove'.

Outlook on Athena

• First close Outlook if open.
• In the Apps on Athena, search for Mail Outlook 2019 and start the app.
• Click "Email Accounts..."
• Select the shared mailbox and choose 'Remove'.

OWA (Outlook Web App)

• Surf to outlook.office.com and log in with your UGent credentials.
• In the left navigation pane, right-click the shared mailbox, then click 'Delete shared mailbox'.

Thunderbird / IMAP

• Go to Tools > Account Settings.
• Select the shared mailbox.
• Account Actions > Remove Account.
