FindTime

FindTime is the Microsoft application for planning and choosing a meeting time. While setting up your poll, you can view all available time slots in the participants agendas if they have a UGent account. Comparable with the popular Doodle, recipients do not need an account to participate in the poll. This means you can create polls with people outside of UGent as well.

School or work account versus personal Microsoft account

What is the difference?

Your UGent school account (for students) or work account (for employees) is created for you by DICT. You have created your personal Microsoft account yourself.

You use your personal Microsoft account (Microsoft ID) to log in to personal Microsoft devices/apps, and for example to install apps from the Windows Store. A personal Microsoft account also gives you access to Microsoft services, from Office to Outlook and Skype. For more information, read: https://www.microsoft.com/nl-be/account.

Good to know:

Switching between accounts

If you have multiple accounts, you can switch between accounts, both from the web browser and from an application. More information about this can be found in online manuals from Microsoft.
