Certificates

Certificates are used to secure exchange of data.

• When securing the internet connection with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Websites that are served over SSL are recognizable by the closed lock icon in the status bar and the https:// in the address bar.
• When using the "Eduroam" wireless network (Wi-Fi), to set up an encrypted communication channel

• For digital signing of your rental agreement.
