Epurse is the system that allows you at UGent to use your student or staff card as an electronic wallet to pay for meals in the student cafeterias and prints and copies from the multifunctionals in the university buildings.

In case of loss / theft / defective card?

Loss, theft or defect has no impact on the credit on your epurse.

• Have your card blocked immediately via the helpdesk
• Request a new staff card from the Personnel and Organization Department.
• You can request a new student card at the Department of Student Administration and Study Programs.

Please note: a new card can only be used from the day after it is issued.
